Welcome message from the organisers

Under this year’s motto ‘Analogue meets Algorithm’, we will meet in May for the 114.BiblioCon in Berlin at the Estrel Congress Centre.

We look forward to stimulating exchanges, inspiring discussions, company news and a rich programme. The focus will be on social issues such as data sovereignty as the cornerstone of responsible digital participation, libraries as places for all generations and needs, the further development of the necessary qualifications in our professional field, and the ability to meaningfully combine familiar and proven traditions with new technologies.

Berlin’s libraries are contributing to the programme of the 114th BiblioCon with a wealth of professional expertise and creative energy. Many thanks! From offering insights into their premises and services to organising city tours and visits, their contributions are turning Berlin into the centre of the library and information world over the coming days.
